Delete your account
In the app, open Sober Setup and tap "delete account". It removes your saved card from our payment processor, your dare history and anything you wrote. We keep an anonymous record of stakes that were actually charged (amount, dates, and which Terms version you accepted) for accounting and to answer chargebacks. Settle any live dare first.
What shows on your statement
- When you arm a dare: a pending authorization (hold) for the stake from Runners High Group Limited (RHI-SOFT). It is not a charge.
- When you report done: the hold is released and you pay $0. Your bank may take a few days to drop the pending line.
- When you report you missed: the hold becomes a charge for the stake.
- If you never report: the hold is released automatically within about five days. Silence never charges.
- Currency: holds and charges are in Canadian dollars (CAD). If your card is in another currency, your issuer converts the amount and may add a foreign-exchange fee, so your statement can differ slightly.
Charged in error?
Email support@betonyourselfapp.com within 14 days of the charge with the date and amount, and we will correct it.
